Robin has been a practicing Physical Therapist in the Lake County area for over twenty years.
She began her career with Caremark Orthopedic Services which was later purchased by Healthsouth. After four rewarding years, she followed her supervisor to his own newly-established therapy clinic in Barrington where she remained for the next three years. During these years, Robin was an instructor at the Chicago School of Medicine where she taught classes to the undergrads in the Physical Therapy Department.
Wanting to spend time with her children, Robin left full-time practice and began home health care at MacNeal Home Care Services where she enjoyed a more-flexible work schedule. Three years later, she accepted an offer from Lake Forest Hospital’s Home Health Care Department where she remained until the spring of 2005.
In May of 2005, Robin opened her own physical therapy practice in her hometown of Grayslake, IL. In 2009, she was honored with the YWCA Women of Achievement Award. She is delighted to be free to apply treatment according to her own high standards of thorough, hands-on, one-on-one care, aimed at bringing each patient to a complete recovery and maintaining wellness. She has very active in community programs and activities and volunteered over the years in fall prevention programs.
When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband Bryce Edwards and their four children. Robin like to coach basketball as well as playing some B-ball in her yard.
